Questions

Frequently asked

What is SharpSlap?
SharpSlap is an NFL player-prop prediction tool. Every night a 14-model pipeline scores the slate, maps each pick's confidence to how often similar picks have hit historically, and freezes the picks before kickoff so nothing gets quietly rewritten after games start.
How is the confidence number calculated?
It is not a raw model score. After a pick qualifies, we remap its confidence through historical accuracy curves, so a shown percentage reflects the real hit rate of comparable past picks. A higher number always means a stronger historical record, for both More and Less picks.
What does “frozen before kickoff” mean?
Once a game is about to start, that pick is locked. Later line moves or data refreshes overlay the frozen row instead of replacing it, so the pick you saw pre-kickoff is the pick we grade — no hindsight edits.
Which props do you cover?
Core QB, RB, WR and TE markets — fantasy points, passing yards and TDs, rushing attempts and yards, receptions and receiving yards — with more added over time.
Is this a betting site? Do you take wagers?
No. SharpSlap does not accept wagers or handle any money for bets. It is an information and entertainment tool that shows model output. Any betting you do is on you, at legal venues, under the laws where you live.
Do you guarantee winning picks?
No, and anyone who guarantees that is lying. A calibrated confidence is a historical estimate, not a promise. Models are wrong regularly. Never stake money you can't afford to lose.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Paid plans are month-to-month and you can cancel from your account at any time; access continues through the end of the billing period.
How often does the board update?
The production pipeline runs nightly and refreshes through the week as lines, injuries and depth charts change, then freezes picks before each kickoff window.
